Together, we Dismantle Barriers and Unleash Talent
We build lasting pathways and drive equity from grassroots up, so musicians from minoritised backgrounds can access, shape, belong and thrive in the music industry
Who We Are
Igniting Potential and Building Community
We bring together young people and musicians from minoritised backgrounds to unleash talent, build confidence and create real, lasting opportunity in music.
Rooted in lived experience and powered by community, our work challenges gatekeeping and breaks down barriers that keep the music industry from being an inclusive, equitable space. We believe music is a powerful force for expression, connection and change - and that everyone deserves the chance to belong, shape, belong and thrive as a musician.

What We Do
Innovative Programmes to Unleash Talent
Future Sound: Music education for the next generation
Future Sound is our flagship, artist-led music education programme for 11-16 year-olds in North England and London, co-designed by young people and partner schools. We engage over 3,000 young people every year through a series of introductory live performance assemblies, careers Q&A's, and small group workshops.

Beyond the Mix: Career support for early career jazz-inspired musicians
Beyond the Mix is a career development programme supporting emerging jazz-inspired musicians from racially minoritised and working-class backgrounds. Through mentorship, industry access and paid opportunities, the programme helps artists build sustainable careers and navigate the music industry with confidence.
